This course is designed to provide students the public speaking skills they will need to express themselves more effectively in their classes, communities and personal lives while providing opportunities to enhance their self-confidence and listening skills while simultaneously improving their abilities to analyze, organize and make a positive impression on their audiences. This course is part of the institution’s general education core requirements and is a prerequisite for all of the other Speech and Communication courses.
