Course Description
This course is an overview of educational programs and instructional strategies centered around developmental issues related to social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of the middle and high school learner. Students will examine middle school and high school program elements including constructive learning, block scheduling, advisory teams, and interdisciplinary curricular teams. The South Dakota Teacher Competencies will be included in this course. 3 credit hours.
